Tamara Fields, LCSW-S
Clinical Director
Tamara P. Fields is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Supervisor in the State of Illinois and Texas. She studied social work at The University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration, where she received her Master of Arts degree in 2005. Tamara has been working from coast to coast in the field of social work for nearly 20 years. Tamara has acquired a wide range of experience working with clients of all ages. She has worked with these clients in a variety of settings, some of which include inpatient hospitalization, residential treatment centers, community based programs and currently in private practice. While it is without a doubt that Tamara has a personal interest in working with individuals experiencing a variety of life stressors, she has developed a passion for working with individuals impacted by abuse and neglect, grief and loss and trauma. Tamara is well experienced in helping children, adolescents and teens in particular. She is trained in Sandtray Therapy, EMDR, CBT, TF-CBT, CPT and CISM. Tamara is currently the Branch Chair for the Central Texas Chapter National Association of Social Workers. She has also served as a Trustee for the Texas Chapter Political Action for Candidate Election of the National Association of Social Workers.
Aaron Moon, LCSW
Clinical Therapist
Aaron is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He aims to impact his client’s lives for the better. Aaron is passionate about working with underserved communities and populations to improve and change the trajectory of their lives. The clinical skills that Aaron relies on are CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), EMDR and Sandtray. Through these treatment models he believes personal growth comes from bringing these blindspots to the surface.
Phyllis Grant, LCSW
Clinical Therapist (Homewood Location Only)
Phyllis is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that has extensive experience working with individuals, families and couples to maximize their highest level of potential. Her vast experience includes group work with children and parents, hospital social services, homeless social services, and therapy with adults, couples, adolescents and youths.
She is a clinician who uses practical skills to assist individuals with being effective change agents for themselves. She encourages individuals to develop healthy resolutions and empowers them to identify their life’s purpose. Her clients experience her as professional, personable and non-judgmental, creating a relaxed, comfortable and safe therapeutic environment.
Her passion is partnering with women in a non-judgmental way allowing open and honest communication to affect holistic change. She is passionate about providing women with optimal therapy services that fosters wholeness, inspiration and restoration.
Phyllis uses a combination of multiple therapeutic approaches to assist her clients with achieving optimal success.
In her spare time Phyllis enjoys traveling, reading and nature walks.
Rocky Young, LPC
Clinical Therapist (Virtual)
Rocky has a Master's Degree in Education and is a Certified School Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor. Rocky served in the U.S. Navy for eight years. Rocky utilizes REBT (Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy), TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy) and Solution Focused Therapy to assist clients in understanding how their own thinking leads to emotional and behavioral conflicts. He utilizes an action-oriented, empathetic, and unconditional positive regard approach to managing cognitive, emotional, and behavioral disturbances to assist clients with obtaining "Crystal Clear" thinking. Rocky excels in working with individuals seeking to help identify their individual set of beliefs that frequently lead to emotional distress. He has a passion for treating adolescents and has developed a mentoring program in the Killeen ISD school district focused on assisting "At-Risk" youth. Rocky's eleven years of experience as a Professional School Counselor and two years experience as an Academic Advisor in the school district gives him extensive and specialized knowledge regarding state and federal laws concerning special education and 504 rules and regulations. In his spare time Rocky enjoys camping, being on the lake kayaking, and spending valuable time with family and friends.
